198 Barber Shop is an “Old Fashion Barber Shop” with a modern twist. They specialize in clipper haircuts, which consist of regular haircuts - tapered, rounded or blocked off, flat tops, fades, crew cuts, high and tights or whatever is in style at the moment!!! They layer cut hair, trim beards and mustaches, and do hot lather face shaves. The Barbers will shave around your ears and neck, with hot lather, after your clipper haircut! 198 Barber Shop is located on Rt. 198, 1/4 mile EAST of the 295/Baltimore Washington Parkway at the old Produce Basket Location.
In 2009, 198 Barber Shop had the honor of giving Michael, Nola, Riley and Mason their 1st haircut. We still have all of our first haircut celebs of 2008, 2007 & 2006 on the web site too!!! 198 Barber Shop has “FIRST HAIRCUT CERTIFICATES” for all of their new little customers. In a Barber Shop the Barbers take turns cutting the customer’s hair, as the customer’s walk through the door, unless the customer has a preference for a certain Barber. Over the years customers have told me that they feel bad asking for a certain Barber.
